 2009 Mission Work Trips

Good Neighbors, Inc. is a ministry that was established in 2004 by executive director Jason Benedict, to act as the hands and feet of Christ to Single Parents, Families, and Seniors who cannot afford desperately needed home repair, but are disqualified from traditional assistance programs because they are employed.

We are seeking student, adult, and inter-generational groups (of all skill levels) who have a desire to use their physical labor to serve God as “Doers of the Word” (James 1:22), and return home knowing they really made a difference. Work performed by mission groups will make the difference between a family’s sickness and health, safety, or even the ability of a family to stay together!

During the week, groups not only do physical labor, their spiritual lives are also given attention through devotions, music, and challenges for “life after the mission trip”.

Jason and wife Lora Benedict are members of Mountain Community Fellowship in Paintsville, KY.
